In Indian tradition, every indian family creates its own Masala Chai family recipe. We asked an Indian family for their recipe and in honor of this tradition, created our own family recipe.
*** Use 4 grams of your Masala Chai mix in 200ml of nice and warm full-fat milk (around 65 degrees), but feel free to play around with the grammage to flavour according to your own taste.
*** Before you add your milk to the Masala mix, pre-infuse the herbs with hot water. This will open up the herbs, transferring more taste to your milk. You can also add some honey to sweeten things up if you prefer.
*** Full-fat milk can be replaced with skim, lactose-free, soy milk, oat milk or even hot water.
